EXCELLENT pizza and appetizers! Pizza crust is homemade and wonderful! Just a small, family-friendly saloon atmosphere with excellent food! Since the Nugget doesn’t have gaming, kids under 21 are allowed.

We love this bar!! For the past couple years we have made it such a point to stop by that our dog knows to walk in here when walking down Main Street! Spencer has served us the past couple times and is one of the most personable bartenders ever and takes care of us, our friends and fur baby!!! Thanks for being so pet and human friendly. Spencer, you rock!!!

The Nugget is a comfortable place to hang out, enjoy a top notch cocktail, and eat some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. In contrast to the abundance of noisy, dimly lit, and cramped bars lining the streets of Deadwood, The Nugget is spacious and airy, with vaulted ceilings and natural light from the large windows. Great selection of music playing, but quiet enough that you can relax and comfortably carry on a conversation. Our bartender Tripp was talented and professional, and really an amazing guy to talk to. We stayed for several hours and had a great time!

We came and spent the weekend in Deadwood for my Birthday. Let me just say that we went to almost every place on the main strip. The Nugget is by far the best place. The Bartender Spencer has it locked down. His play list is off the chains, his cocktails are better then anywhere ive ever been, not just in Deadwood. The whole bar is a vibe that you have to experience. Dont waste your time anywhere else. This place has great food and an even better selection of cocktails. The Skinny Drop Mule and Old Fashion was our favorite drink all weekend.

Stopped in during the motorcycle Ralley. Got seats upstairs right away (Got lucky). Liz waiting on us and was great. Food came quickly. Was all really good. Pretzel bites, cheese bread, chislic's and burgers. ALL GOOD! The burgers are HUGE! I had the deadwood burger. Excellent.

Great Long Island iced tea and local draft beer. We ducked in for a drink while it was raining and had a fabulous visit with the period dressed bartender and Red Bull distributor. Deadwood SD is a must visit along with The Golden Nugget, the first real bar nearest to the parking lot across from the visitor center.

Tripp and Sarah are the absolute best. This is our first time in Deadwood and The Nugget was our first bar. The Bloody Mary’s are the best I’ve ever had. Tripp makes his own Mix. A must stop in your Deadwood Journey!
